Wellbeing & Activities
Out & About with Stonebow
At Stonebow House, life is full of adventure! Our dedicated Activities team organises regular outings in our comfortable minibus—whether it’s a sunny picnic by the river, a trip to a local garden centre or a cosy afternoon at the pub. We believe staying active, social, and connected to the community brings joy and wellbeing to our residents. Every journey is a chance to make memories and enjoy the little things in life.

Paws, Feathers & Friendly Faces
At Stonebow House, we believe in the power of animal companionship. These moments spark joy, comfort and connection, bringing smiles to our residents’ faces and creating cherished memories. Because sometimes, a wagging tail or a gentle nuzzle is the best kind of therapy.
A Taste of Joy at Stonebow House
Organised by our vibrant Activities team, residents come together to enjoy everything from baking sweet treats to preparing fresh fruit salads, sandwiches, and indulgent high teas. It’s more than just food—it’s about sharing stories, laughter, and the joy of creating something tasty together.
Bridging Generations, Building Smiles
Our Activities team proudly welcomes visitors of all ages into the home—especially children and younger people—creating joyful moments that brighten everyone’s day. Whether it’s school visits, craft sessions with local youth groups, or simply sharing stories, these interactions bring laughter, energy and a sense of community that’s truly special.
Staying Active, Staying Happy
At Stonebow House, keeping active is part of daily life! Our Activities team offers fun and accessible ways for residents to move their bodies and boost their wellbeing—from gentle stretching and coordination exercises to upbeat Zumba sessions that get everyone smiling.
Staying Connected
Our Activities team is dedicated to helping residents stay connected—through lively in-house events like quiz nights, coffee mornings, and themed socials, as well as supporting online connections with loved ones near and far. Whether it’s a shared laugh around the table or a video call with family, every moment of connection matters.
