Day-care services aim is to help older people remain in their community and function to the fullness of their ability. We work to help them maintain, improve or relearn social life skills and activities of daily living
Care provides the following for elderly people:
- Social interaction during the day or a change of scenery and a chance to get out
- Support for people with complex needs, especially with early signs of dementia
- A shower or bath with care staff assisting
- A chance to have hairdressing, styled or wash-and-blow (set days at client’s own cost)
- A balanced meal, snacks, coffee and tea during the day
- Activities to alleviate boredom
- Opportunities to develop new skills and lifestyles, for instance through the art and knitting club
Respite residents care include the following:
- Medication administration by senior care staff
- Recorded care actions during the visit
- A digitised mini care plan with access to the Relatives Gateway
Pricing:
- A full day (10am-5pm) with activities AM&PM, including shower/bath, lunch and minibus service – £80.00
- A full day (10am-5pm) with activities AM&PM, lunch and mini bus service £60.00 EXCLUDING shower/bath
- A half day (10am-2pm) with AM activities including shower/bath and lunch £50.00
- A half day (10am-2pm) with AM activities and lunch £35.00 EXCLUDING shower/bath
