Research
We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of dementia care and research. Our staff members Sandra and Liz have completed the iWheld Dementia Study & Training through the University of Exeter Medical School, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills in dementia care.
Additionally, we are actively involved in the NIHR Research project ‘When the money runs out’ conducted by the University of Birmingham, which focuses on understanding the impact of financial issues on care provision. We also participate in the ‘Crossing the Line’ program led by the Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester, aimed at improving dementia care practices.
Moreover, our involvement in research studies like the Finch Study ‘Action falls’ by the West Midlands Clinical Research Network, the Sonnet Study ‘Social Connection’ from University College London, and the Vivaldi Study from UCL Institute of Health Informatics, reflects our commitment to advancing dementia care through evidence-based practices and innovative research initiatives.
