Long term care
The rooms
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with photographs, pictures and ornaments. Each room is appropriately furnished and decorated, but space can always be made for personal items, furniture as well. Each individual and communal room has been fitted with a Call Bell System to enable residents to call for assistance day and night.
Each room also has a TV connection and Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
There are ample bathing and toilet facilities. Care staff are available to assist with individual needs.
The home has a big lounge, sitting areas in the library and throughout the home and dining room.

Visiting a resident
Stonebow House operates an open visiting policy. You may visit any time and any day without appointment. Just ring the bell.
During the current situation with the Covid-19 we are changing our visiting policy. For further updates on this please refer to our BLOG page which will be updated when any changes are made.
Complimentary refreshments are always available for visitors and you will be welcome to enjoy a meal with your loved one.
Health visitors and medication
Doctors and nurses from Pershore Medical Practise will visit Stonebow House as required or requested. Upon admission every resident will be registered for care. Qualified care staff will administer medication as per prescription and are very well trained in the Administration of Medication. Medication prescribed is ordered, collected and received by the senior members of the care team.
We also organise regular visits by chiropodists, dentists and opticians although this is a private arrangement at the residents own cost.
